Introducing Mido: an engine for clear decisions. Read More

Our vision

Reimagining clarity.

Dear builder,

Think about what a product actually is. It's a stance on how some corner of life should work — how you play, how you learn, how you see the world, how you reach the people you love. We don't just use products anymore, we live within them.

Over the next few years the number of products competing for our attention will be 1000x more than today. Most will be built on guesses about what people actually need.

We're Good Trouble, an applied AI lab building engines for clear decisions. We spent years creating Mido: a world-scale system of record spanning games, apps, and software. Today, Mido helps AAA games publishers, startups, and Fortune-50 enterprises simulate launches, understand users, and stay ahead of the competition.

Our vision is to reimagine how builders and operators make decisions, so that the future we create for one another is shaped not by guesswork, but by understanding.

Culture

How we work.

01

Integrity

We’re evidence-driven builders who deeply care about craft. Reliability and uptime matter just as much as UX and accessibility.

02

Curiosity

We reframe the brief, color outside the lines, and experiment beyond what was previously thought possible.

03

Velocity

The world isn’t waiting, so we move. We iterate quickly, learn fast, ship with conviction, and listen to the data.

04

Camaraderie

We’re in it together. We share the wins and the learnings as a team, and genuinely like the people we build alongside.

5 open roles

You build the platform the rest of the product stands on — the backend services and data infrastructure behind every simulation, competitive scan, and product analysis Mido runs. It is large-scale distributed-systems work, where latency, reliability, and the internal APIs other engineers rely on every day matter as much as the architecture beneath them.

You build the automated systems and data pipelines behind our go-to-market, moving a buyer from first touch to account expansion. The role sits between RevOps, marketing, and data engineering — real engineering and data work, applied to revenue.

You help developers understand and use Mido — writing the docs and demos, giving talks, and answering questions in the places developers actually spend their time. You also carry their feedback back to the team building the product, so what you hear from the community shapes what we ship.

You own the enterprise sales cycle end to end, from first conversation to signed contract, with senior buyers at large publishers, studios, and brands. The work is consultative — long evaluations on high-stakes decisions — and you run the disciplined process that gets deals closed.

You own the full sales cycle to fast-growing studios and software teams, from first conversation to close. These deals move faster than enterprise ones, so you run many at once, qualify quickly, and build the repeatable plays the rest of the team can use.

Don't see your role? Introduce yourself — we're always glad to meet sharp people.
