1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — name, email address, company, role, and credentials you provide when you create an account or contact us.
• Content you submit — the screenshots, URLs, files, prompts, and other materials you upload or enter so Mido can analyze them.
• Usage data — how you interact with the Services, including pages viewed, features used, and actions taken.
• Device and log data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and timestamps collected automatically.
• Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Services;
• Process and analyze the content you submit and return results to you;
• Authenticate users and secure accounts;
• Communicate with you about updates, support, and your account;
• Monitor for fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not use any raw data you enter into the Services to train our AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. Legal bases for processing

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal information on the basis of performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, your consent (where requested), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only as described here:

• Service providers — vendors that host infrastructure, process payments, or support operations, under contracts that require them to protect your data.
• Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Mido Labs, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and thereafter only as required to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time.

7. Security

Your data, uploads, and sessions are encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is controlled on a least-privilege basis. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

8. International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. When we transfer personal information internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@heymido.com. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. California privacy rights

This section applies to California residents and supplements the rest of this Policy, as required by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”).

Personal information we collect. In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information, directly from you and automatically when you use the Services:

• Identifiers — name, email address, IP address, and device identifiers.
• Professional information — company and role.
• Internet or other electronic network activity — usage data, log data, and cookie data, as described in Section 2.
• Sensitive personal information — account credentials, which we use only to authenticate you and secure your account.
• Other information you submit — any personal information contained in the content you upload or enter.

How we use and disclose it. We use personal information for the purposes described in Section 3. We disclose it for business purposes only to the service providers described in Section 5, under contracts that limit how they may use it.

No sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the past 12 months, and we do not sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Retention. We keep each category of personal information for the periods described in Section 6.

Your rights. If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, and receive a copy of it;
• Correct inaccurate personal information;
• Delete personal information, subject to exceptions under the law; and
• Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

Because we do not sell or share personal information, and use sensitive personal information only to authenticate you and secure your account, the rights to opt out of sale or sharing and to limit the use of sensitive personal information do not apply.

How to make a request. Email privacy@heymido.com. We will verify your request by matching the information you provide with the information we hold, and respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf; we may ask the agent for proof of your written permission and ask you to verify your identity with us directly.

11. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
